# Tips and shortcuts

> - History: ↑ / ↓ when the suggestion list is closed.

* **History:** **↑** / **↓** when the suggestion list is closed.
* **Semicolons:** Chain commands: `OS A23; N Suspect vehicle in driveway`.
* **Tab completion:** When suggestions show, **Tab** inserts the highlighted row.
* **HELP:** `HELP`, `?`, or **F1**. On **call detail**, help includes **call-only** commands (timer, PERSON, VEH, ASSIGN, EMAIL, …); on the dashboard those are summarized in the footer instead.

## Workflow examples

* New burglary + unit: `NC BURG 200 MAIN ST @A23`
* Arrival + note: `OS A23; N Suspect vehicle in driveway`
* Close with disposition: `CLOSE #26-00045 $RC` (if `$RC` exists)
* Flag report + email PDF: `FLAG; EMAIL records@agency.gov` (on call detail)
* Multi-unit assign: `ASSIGN @423 @424 @M1` (on call detail)
