# Smart triggers (@ # ! $)

> Triggers open autocomplete lists while you type.

Triggers open **autocomplete** lists while you type.

| Character | Meaning                                                             |
| --------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **@**     | **Unit** callsigns first; then **agency** names for longer matches. |
| **#**     | **CFS** numbers (active / recent calls).                            |
| **!**     | **Unit status** values from your organization.                      |
| **\$**    | **Disposition** codes (agency-configured).                          |

On **call detail**, after you type **`PRI=`**, **Dispatch CAD** may show **priority level** suggestions (numeric priority with labels) instead of a trigger character.

## Examples

* `NC MED 456 ELM ST @M1 !ENR` — Medical call, unit M1 enroute after assignment.
* `CLOSE #26-00045 $RC` — Close using disposition shortcode `RC` if defined.

## Combining with keywords

Keywords like `RP=`, `PH=`, `PRI=` can appear alongside triggers. The parser treats them as named fields, not part of the free-text address.
