## Connection indicators

| Indicator      | Meaning                     |
| -------------- | --------------------------- |
| **WS LIVE**    | Realtime connection healthy |
| **WS FAIR**    | Degraded connection         |
| **WS POOR**    | Poor connection             |
| **WS OFFLINE** | No websocket                |

Calls screen may show Wi‑Fi dot with queued count — tooltip **Queued messages**.

## Works offline

## Offline maps

There is no Settings screen for downloading map zones. The map may still show tiles that were cached while online; expect gaps in areas you have not viewed before.

## E-ticket sync

When e-citations enabled:

* Home **PENDING SYNC** metric
* Settings **Auto-Sync Ticket Data** — upload drafts when connection restores

## Application updates offline

MDT downloads updates when online. Background checks run at launch and about every four hours while the app is open. If you are offline:

* Previously staged **ready** updates can still install on restart.
* New update notices may appear from cache, but download waits until connectivity returns.
* The running app version stays in service until a verified installer is staged.

## Tips

* Glance at WS indicator before relying on realtime call updates.
* Queue clears when connection returns — pull to refresh calls.
* Open key map areas while online if you expect poor LTE later.
