Web Admin is the configuration hub for Cadmus. Everything you configure here — incident types, agency toggles, user roles, integration credentials, notification templates — flows through Cadmus services and directly shapes what dispatchers see and can do in Dispatch CAD and what field responders experience in Mobile CAD. If a feature is missing in dispatch or a permission isn’t working, the answer is almost always a setting in Web Admin.

Who this is for

If you are unsure which role you hold, open Web Admin and note which items appear in the left sidebar — navigation is filtered to your permissions. See Roles and Access for a full breakdown.

How settings reach the field

Changes you save in Web Admin flow through Cadmus to dispatchers and field units:
Most changes take effect after dispatchers select Reload Data in the Dispatch CAD header. Some changes — such as new CJIS credentials or org promotions — require CadmusAdmin action and a brief propagation window.

Always confirm which organization is selected in the header picker before saving any changes. Web Admin applies settings to the currently selected org — editing the Sandbox org when you intend the Live org (or vice versa) is one of the most common admin mistakes.
