Shape

  • TYPE — Shortcode mapped in admin to an incident type (e.g. BURG, MED).
  • ADDRESS — Greedy text until a keyword or trigger; geocoding uses your org’s address services when configured.
  • @UNIT — Assign one or more units; !STATUS immediately after a unit applies to that unit (default dispatched if omitted).
  • Quoted narrative — Text in double quotes anywhere on the line is stored as call narrative / notes (same idea as NARR=, often easier to type). Example: NC BURG 456 MAIN ST PRI=2 @351 !Enroute "Someone kicked in the back door".

Examples

  • NC BURG 123 MAIN ST
  • NC MED 456 ELM ST @M1 !ENR @M2
  • NC DOMV 789 OAK AVE @A23 !OS RP=JOHN SMITH PH=5559876
  • NC BURG 200 ELM ST @A1 !ENR "Forced entry, alarm ringing"
  • NC TS 100 HWY 61 @423 — Traffic-style call with unit 423.
