How to open Find a Call
You can open Find a Call from two places:- Header — click the history icon in the application header (tooltip: Find a Call).
- Recent tab — click the Find a Call (full history) link at the bottom of the Recent board tab.
Search for a call
Once Find a Call is open, use the Search calls field to query the archive. Cadmus supports the following search inputs:
Results appear in a paginated list showing the CFS number, incident type, location, and close date. The counter displays N / total so you know how many records matched.
Open a search result
Click any result in the list to open its Call Detail page.- Closed calls — most fields are read-only. You can view all history, logs, notes, and unit assignments, but cannot add new logs or images.
- Calls eligible for editing — some calls (e.g., recently closed or reopened with supervisor approval) may allow limited edits depending on your role and agency configuration.
If you need to make changes to a closed call, use Reopen Call in the app bar. Reopening requires supervisor approval at most agencies and generates an audit log entry.

- Use your browser’s print function or any agency-configured export option within call detail.
